The Garmin-Asus nuvifone G60 is obviously a teamed up device by a known GPS company, Garmin, and a computer manufacturer, Asus. Well, the partnership will actually produce a series of Garmin-Asus nuvifone, and the first to be introduced is this G60.
With that, you could easily say that this will be a high-tech handset which will of course center on turn-by-turn and voice-prompted navigation features. It looks like this phone could be placed on the car for the use of that navigation feature, and then could easily be removed when you have reached the place, turning it into a mobile phone use.
Aside from that, this supports quad-band GSM and tri-band HSDPA connectivity with Wi-Fi, webkit-based HTML browser, and also has on-board maps and a lot of location-based applications.
The Garmin-Asus nuvifone G60 will be presented at the Mobile World Congress 2009 and is expected to be commercially available in the first half of the year although pricing is still undisclosed.
